Bacteriophage

APS's Research and Development programme centres on the development of novel 'biological control agents', meeting growing demands by governments, industry and the public for more environmentally-acceptable methods of pest and disease control. The company's technologies are based on novel applications of bacteriophage in key market sectors.

Targets

Targets for our current developments include:

bacterial pathogens of food crops;
economically-important arthropod and mollusc pests in agricultural and veterinary sectors.
